About Us

Demarcus is a collection of free online tools for the small jobs that come up every day: merging a couple of PDFs before you send them, shrinking a photo so it fits an upload limit, making a QR code for a menu, checking a word count before you hit publish.

Why we built it

Most “free” online tools upload your file to a server, process it there, and keep a copy for a while. That’s a strange trade for a five-second task — especially when the file is a contract, an ID scan or a photo of your kids.

Every tool on Demarcus runs entirely inside your web browser. Your file is opened by JavaScript on your own device, processed there, and handed back to you as a download. Nothing is uploaded. We couldn’t look at your files even if we wanted to, because they never reach us.

What that means in practice

• Private by design. Close the tab and the file is gone.
• Fast. No upload queue, no waiting for a server, no download step at the end.
• No limits. No daily quota, no file-count cap, no watermarks, no account.
• Works offline-ish. Once a tool page has loaded, it keeps working even if your connection drops.

What’s here

We currently offer PDF tools (merge, split, compress, rotate, convert to and from images), image tools (compress, resize, convert between JPG, PNG and WebP) and everyday utilities (QR code generator, word counter, password generator). We add tools based on what people ask for — tell us what you need.
